CST™ (Communications Support Truck)

Download Datasheet

When disaster strikes, first responders know communication access is crucial to their relief efforts. Created by Incident Communication Solutions, LLC (ICS) the CST™ (Communications Support Truck) provides first responders with dedicated communications assets throughout an incident or event. Designed to supply essential on-scene communications for public safety communications, disaster recovery and continuity of operations the CST can support the mission regardless if traditional communications infrastructure is damaged, destroyed, overloaded or unavailable.

CST™ (Communications Support Truck)

Mobile

First responders need a comprehensive communication solution no matter where they operate. The CST system delivers radio communications, broadband data, telephone and video conferencing via satellite anywhere the incident dictates, giving communications support throughout any incident.

With the ability to run for 72 hours without refueling, the CST is a self-sufficient solution that contains space for three communications staff members to operate.

Reliable and Robust

CST™ Interior

Incident scenes are unpredictable. Response teams need 100% dependable communications no matter where they are operating. Using Tactical-IP™ satellite services, you can maintain communication regardless of location or conditions. This broadband VSAT service allows for 3Mbpsdownload and 1 Mbps upload anywhere in the continental United States giving responders solid reach back to agency resources or to provide situational awareness and operational information to command staff.

The CST offers an extended-height mast to provide a greater communications footprint. On-board UHF, VHF or 800Mhz repeaters allow for a stronger transmission of signals from the CST, giving communications staff greater capability and reach.

Effective

Each incident requires different responses. The CST™’s suite of Internet Protocol (IP)-based tools combines voice, video and data to create a comprehensive communication platform, incorporating interoperability at any level and continuity of operations into its design. This flexibility allows you to adapt to the unique attributes of the incident. Whether it’s Portable Radio Coverage, Interoperability, Tactical Dispatch or Continuity of Operations, the CST’s systems provide an effective solution.

Fast and EasyCST Workstation

Field Communication teams appreciate the CST™ for both its sophistication and simplicity. Designed with input from real-world Field Communications personnel, the entire system is simple to set up and doesn’t require a network technician or information technology specialist to operate. Typical deployment time once on scene is under 15 minutes. The majority of the systems are fully automatic, including satellite acquisition.

Affordable

First responders don’t have time or money to spare, so we offer a variety of packages and pricing on the system and can include satellite and voice services from the start. This approach gives you economical options for emergency communications.
